IED to market Odisha food products under trade mark of LED FOOD

Bhubaneswar, Jul12 (UNI) The Odisha state-run Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (IED), will market the food products produced by entrepreneurs trained in the Livelihood Business Incubator (LBI) of the Institute under the trademark "Led FOODS".
The decision to market the food products under the trademark "Led FOODS" was taken as per the decision of the entrepreneurs, official sources here said.
lED intends to produce and market the food products produced by it in the LBI under the brand name "IED FOODS".
lED would also encourage incubates to sell their products under their brand name. The products would be manufactured under the strict supervision of quality by LBI Food Technologist till they set up their own units.
The incubates and the trainees of lED have produced different varieties of products such as Mixed Fruit Jam, Jelly, Mango Juice, Pineapple Juice, Orange Juice, Pickles, Chowmein, Snacks (such as Gaja, Namkeen), Atta, Besan, Soya Milk, Soya Tofu, which were launched by MSME Minister Prafulla Samal in a function here.
Launching the IED Food Trade Mr Samal said Food processing industries were the largest employment creators. The potential and trained entrepreneurs should focus on producing quality food products so that the same can compete with existing brands and withstand competition.
The minister also stressed on 'zero defect-zero effect' model and manufacturing environment-friendly products.
