IDP Education launches four computerised IELTS test centres in Punjab

Chandigarh, Feb 13(UNI) IDP Education, a global leader in international education services on Wednesday announced opening of four Computer Delivered (CD) International English language Testing System (IELTS) test centres in Punjab taking the total number of such centres to 12 in the country.

Speaking to media on the occasion, Piyush Kumar, Regional Director, South Asia of IDP Education said the initiative to launch such centres has been taken to provide students with greater flexibility to appear in for online IELTS test, with tests running three times in a day from Monday to Saturday at no extra cost. They will also receive the results of their tests in five to seven days which earlier used to take close to a fortnight. With the earlier practice of conducting pen and paper test only weekly tests were conducted and student had to wait for longer period of time to appear in for such tests, he added.
