Idol of goddess Sita found vandalized in temple

Vijayawada, Jan 3 (UNI) The destruction of idols of Hindu deities continued unabated in Andhra Pradesh as the idol of goddess Sita devi was found destroyed in Sitarama temple located at Pandit Nehru bus complex here on Sunday.
The priest of the temple found the idol of goddess Sita devi was found vandalized and complained this to the police. Circle Inspector Satyanand visited the temple and started investigation.
He said the CCTV footage would be examined to find out whether miscreants destroyed the idol.
