ICMR approves 18 private labs to carry out Covid-19 testing in Telangana

Hyderabad, Jun 19 (UNI) As many 18 private labs in the state – all in twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad are permitted by ICMR (the Indian Council of Medical Research) to carry out Covid-19 testing in Telangana, according to the State Public Health Department here on Friday.
The labs are directed to charge not more than Rs 2,2000 per test if samples are collected at the lab and Rs 28000 if samples are collected from home, the Department said in a note here.
The private labs approved by the ICMR are Apollo Hospitals at Jubilee Hills ; Vijaya Diagnostic Centre at Himayat Nagar ; Vimta labs Ltd at IDA Cherlapally; Dr Remedies Labs Private at Punjagutta; Pathcare Labs Pvt Ltd at Medchal; American Institute of pathology and Labs Sciences Pvt Ltd at Serilingampally; Tenet Diagnostics at Banjara Hills; AIG Hospitals at GachiBowli; Cell Correct Diagnostics at Virinchi Hospital, Banjara hills; MAPMYGENOME India Ltd at Madhapur; LEPRA Society-Blue Peter Public Health and Research Centre at Cherlapally; Dept of Lab Medicine at Star Hospital, Banjara Hills; Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited at Bowenpally (secunderabad); Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Ltd (KIMS)at Minister Road, Secunderabad; Lucid MedicalDiagnostics Pvt Ltd at Karkhana, Secunderabad and Medcis Pathlabs india Pvt Ltd at Bowenpally; Department of lab Medicine at Alexander Road and Biognosys Technologies (India) Pvt Ltd at Medchal ( Malkajgiri).
