ICC Women's World T20: Javeria Khan powers Pak to 139/6 against Ireland

Guyana, Nov 13 (UNI) After loosing their two matches at the Women World T20, Pakistan captain Javeria Khan played an unbeaten knock of 74 runs, helping their team to post a challenging total of 139 runs against Ireland in their third match in Pool-B here at Guyana National Stadium on Tuesday night.
Earlier in the day, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first.
Pakistan got off to a bad start as they lost their opener Nahida Khan (10) for 16 runs in fifth over, she was dismissed by Ciara Metcalfe. Captain came one down and helped Pakistan to get past 50 runs mark. Ayesha Zafar was run out by Isobel Joyce. She was looking dangerous, scoring 21 off 22 balls. Both added 37 runs for the second wicket.
