Dubai, Nov 28 (UNI) Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara has leapfrogged to second spot, while captain Virat Kohli stands firm at 5th spot, according to the latest ranking released by the ICC for Test batsmen on Tuesday.
Pujara has leapfrogged to no 2nd from his earlier no 4th spot with career-high 888 points after scoring 143 winning by an innings and 239 runs in the second Test against Sri Lanka in Nagpur while Steve Smith of Australia is at top with 941 points.
Meanwhile, Pujara is 11 points ahead of Kohli, who with 877 points stands at 5th spot after scoring his fifth career double-century in 62 Tests.
