ICC Global Business Summit in Mumbai to be held on Sept 18-19

Mumbai, Sep 16 (UNI) About 800 business delegates, both from overseas and home grown business leaders are expected to participate in the Global Business Summit, 'GBS 2025', to be held in the commercial capital of the country, Mumbai, on September 18,19, being organised by Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
“The future of global business lies not just in capital, but in connections. At Global Business Summit 2025, we are not merely chasing growth—we are shaping ecosystems built on trust, collaboration, and enduring value,” president- ICC & MD, Jindal Stainless Ltd, Abhyuday Jindal said.
He said the delegates from around 20 countries will exchange their business ideas and are likely to strike deals during the two day summit.
The summit is supported by the Ministry of Tourism, PD Division, Ministry of External Affairs, Road Transport and Highways Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Railways and Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Government of India, and is being organised by ICC Global Business Summit 2025 in Jio Convention Center and Grand Hyatt.
The state partners include Maharashtra, UP, Bihar, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh with Invest India being a partner.
The Conclave is expected to attract over 800 global and national business delegates from India and across 20 countries, including Vietnam, USA, UK, UAE, Thailand, Tanzania, Switzerland, Sri Lanka, South Korea, South Africa, Singapore, Romania, Poland, New Zealand, Nigeria, Nepal, Mauritius, Malaysia, Mexico, Kuwait, Japan, India, Italy, Greece, Germany, France, Estonia, Cyprus, Canada, Brazil, Bhutan, Belgium, Australia & Argentina.
Cyprus is one of the focus countries along with Greece. Recently Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Cyprus and the visit of their 25 members’ delegation to India has great significance. Similarly Greece and Italy are also focus countries as they will be organising exclusive sessions.
The dignitaries are expected to attend among others, including union ministers Nitin Gadkari, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Nicodemos Damianou, Sanjeev Kumar, secretary, defence production and others.
Business leaders addressing the conference include Brij Bhushan Agarwal of Shyam Metalics, Parthiv Neotia of Ambuja Neotia Group, Vikash Lohia from Jupiter Wagons, Kanishka Sethia of Western Carriers, Shiv Eashwaran of Canadian Crystaline, Ankur Patni, Ion Exchange, and Neeraj Kumar, CEO, Jindal SAW.
ICC Global Business Summit 2025 focuses on key sectors of the economy, such as chemical & petrochemical, circular economy & water, defence, energy, financial services, agri & food processing, healthcare, IT, communication and artificial intelligence (AI), manufacturing industry, mines & metals, mobility, infrastructure & supply chain.
“As the World and India witness geo-political shifts and trade uncertainties, our summit is a very timely initiative to explore new business synergies, facilitate business partnerships, through multilateral dialogues and business meetings over two days," Dr Rajeev Singh, Director General, ICC, said, while giving a brief on the Summit.
Prime networking opportunities include Exclusive B2B meetings, Start-up networking sessions and Interaction with high-level government officials, diplomats, and business leaders. The event is India’s foremost gathering of global business leaders, C-suite executives, Heads of states, policymakers, startups, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, exporters, importers, and investment promotion agencies.

Adani Power inks PSA with MSEDCL to supply 1,600 MW of electricity
