IAF marks 93rd anniversary with grand parade at Hindan

New Delhi, Oct 8 (UNI) The 93rd Anniversary of the Indian Air Force was commemorated at the Air Force Station Hindan today with a grand parade, reviewed by Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh.
The parade commenced with the marching-in of the President's Colours, symbolising pride, unity, strength and esprit-de-corps. On arrival, the Chief of Air Staff was presented with an aerial salute by three Mi-17 1V helicopters in 'Dhwaj' formation trooping the National flag, IAF flag and Op Sindoor flag, an official statement said.
The ceremonial parade was commanded by Gp Capt Chetan Pradeep Deshpande. While the Air Force Band's patriotic tunes set the tone for the march past, matched by the air warriors' precise and energetic footsteps.
