IAF chopper makes emergency landing in Gujarat

Bhavnagar, Aug 6 (UNI) An Indian Air Force (IAF) chopper of the South Western Air Command (SWAC) made emergency landing due to technical snag in an agricultural field here on Tuesday, police said adding that all nine people on board are safe.
Police said that the chopper being used for rain-flood rescue operations in Surat district was returning to Jamnagar when due to sudden technical setback it was landed in a field in Kukad village of Ghogha taluka of Bhavnagar.
Police cordoned off the area as a large crowd of local villagers had gathered there.
