IAF, administration airlift two critical patients from remote areas of Udhampur

Jammu, Sep 6 (UNI) In a swift humanitarian response, the administration in collaboration with the Indian Air Force(IAF) today successfully airlifted two patients for urgent medical intervention from the flood and landslide-hit region of Tehsil Latti-Marothi in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Officials said that two patients namely Shiv Lal, a resident of Sira and Diwan Chand, hailing from Latti were in a critical condition requiring immediate medical attention.
Due to incessant rains and multiple landslides, road connectivity between Tehsil Latti-Marothi and Udhampur was disrupted, making air evacuation the only viable option, he said.
