I was responsible for the defeat: Mahmudullah

Dhaka, Apr 13 (UNI) Bangladesh senior batsman Mahmudullah took the responsibility for the semi-final loss against the hosts in the recently concluded ICC World T20.
After two successive defeats in the group stage of the prestigious tournament, Bangladesh had required just two runs from last three deliveries to seal a victory against the men in blue but they failed to cross the line.
"How can I forget that? When Mushfiq and I were batting? never thought that we could lose. There was still hope? but it didn't happen, it's actually my fault. I made a senseless mistake and was responsible for the defeat." Mahmudullah was quoted as saying to bdnews24.com yesterday.
