I have no problem in playing antagonist: Minissha Lamba

New Delhi, Mar 16 (UNI) Actress Minissha Lamba who has made her debut in Bollywood from 'Yahaan' in 2005 is now set to foray into Television world with Sab TV's 'Tenali Rama'.

Talking to UNI, Minissha who is essaying the role of a 'Vishkanya' in 'Tenali Rama' says she has no problem in playing the antagonist.

'It is okay to be stereotyped. I have no problem in playing the antagonist and further going on in other shows as well,' Minissha said.

Asking whether it is the right choice to make debut in TV, the 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' fame said,'I always wanted to do television like for past two years. This is a very interesting character for me to work on.'

'I think you will get a lot of traditional characters to play throughout your career but to play something interesting that comes one in a while so one should just grab an opportunity like that,' she said.

Minissha who has been a part of 'Bigg Boss 8', when asked if she is interested in doing any other reality show, said,'I am very shy to do reality shows. So I don't know about the reality shows but definitely the fiction shows, I will be a part.'

If she wants to do any 'saas-bahu' daily soaps, the actress said,'I am open to any sort of shows. I am not saying that I will do this and won't do that.'

'Any show is good with me as long as I feel that I enjoy my every day work,' she said.

Minissha who was last seen in 'Zilla Ghaziabad', when asked if she is happy her career is shaping up, said,'Well I did a take a bit of a break because of the voluntarily reasons. And also because I wasn't getting the kind of roles I wanted to do. So hence that's how that worked out.'

Minissha has become the professional poker player. Asked her reasons to moving from acting to poker, she said,'I didn't moved from acting to poker. I think sometimes people are capable of donning many hands.'

'I am definitely an actor. I have a hobby called poker and I had the chance to take it to the next level, and I took it,' she said.

The 33-years-old actress said she would love to do romantic comedy in future.

Minissha will play a negative role of a vamp in 'Tenali Rama'. The Sab TV show is inspired by the tales of Tenali Rama, based on the real life Telugu poet Tenali Ramakrishna.

Minissha described her character as sultry and mysterious.

'Looking forward to entertain the masses with varied roles,' Minissha said.
