Mount Maunganui, Feb 3 (UNI) Showering praise on the India Under-19 team, which emerged champions of the ICC U-19 World Cup after thrashing Australia in finals on Saturday, coach Rahul Dravid said he was proud of the brilliant effort of his boys.
Speaking after his coached boys lifted the prestigious trophy for the fourth time, the 45-year-old said,"I am really proud of them. I think the effort they've put in, really proud of that. I'm proud of the support staff as well. The effort we have put in over the last 14 months has been sensational. They really deserved this, couldn't be happier and proud for this bunch of boys."
Dravid further said that the team now needs to carry on from here and perform 'bigger and better'.
