New Delhi, Dec 14 (UNI) Standing by his ‘rape in India’ remarks at a rally in Jharkhand, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said that he will ‘never apologise for what is right’.
Addressing the massive ‘Bharat bachao’(Save the country) rally at Ramleela maidan, Rahul, speaking on the controversy over his ‘rape in India’ remarks, said,’’Yesterday, in Parliament, I was asked to apologise for speaking the truth. My name is not Rahul Savarkar. My name is Rahul Gandhi. I will never apologise for what is right"
He said that it is PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah who should apologise for destroying the Indian economy.
"It is Narendra Modi and his assistant Amit Shah who has to apologise to the country for destroying India's economy": Rahul said.
