HYSEA & STPI-Hyderabad to organize Annual Innovation Summit 2019 on Aug 1

Hyderabad, Jul 15 (UNI) HYSEA (Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association) , in association with Software Technology Parks of India(STPI-Hyderabad) will organize the 27th edition of the Annual HYSEA Innovation Summit 2019 at HICC here on August 1.

Speaking at the curtain raiser press conference for the Summit here on Monday, HYSEA President Murali Bollu, said, the summit will feature a Conference, Product Expo and Annual Industry Awards.

The theme for this year’s event is ‘Nextgen Businesses: Powered by Future Technologies’, he said the Summit, one of the most prestigious industry events in the city, will showcases the city’s vibrant culture of innovation, booming start-up industry and eco-system.

More than 120 startups and 1000 delegates, including more than 200 IT Industry leaders were expected to attend the event, which will feature keynotes and panel discussions by leaders from IT majors and emerging startups, he informed.

A Report on ‘Hyderabad as an attractive destination’, prepared in association with KPMG, CBRE and Government of Telangana, will also be launched at the Summit, the HYSEA President said.

HYSEA aims to foster and promote the growth of Telangana’s IT Industry which has been growing consistently at 15 percent year-on-year, he said Hyderabad with its growing infrastructure and nurturing from the State government has become one of the most attractive IT destinations in the world.

The Conference will bring together industry leaders, technology gurus and independent analysts and consultants, he said at the summit, the major achievements of IT/ITES companies in Hyderabad will be highlighted, awards will be presented in various categories, including for achievements in IT/ITES Exports, Product development and CSR.

Additionally, Hyderabad’s Hot 10 startups will be chosen for mentoring for one year by HYSEA and for the first time an Award for ‘Best Women Led Startups’ has been instituted, Mr Bollu said the summit is a platform to recognize and reward exciting start-ups in Hyderabad, and to create opportunities for investments and growth of Hyderabad as a global IT hub.

The conference part of the Summit will feature panel discussions and keynote addresses on three topics – Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality and their impact on the Industry.

In addition, the summit will also have an exhibition zone, which will display both big and small enterprises along with startups, showcasing their products and offerings, he added.

Speaking on the occasion, STPI Director Mr. Ram Prasad said that we believe that STPI is the earliest incubator for the IT industry in Hyderabad. These awards recognize performance in all relevant categories and celebrate the Hyderabad IT industry’s rapid growth over the years.”

Telangana State Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Department Principal Secretary , Jayesh Ranjan, STPI Director General Dr. Omkar Rai, and HDCL Technologies former CEO, Vineet Nayar, will grace the conference.
