HYSEA organises Annual Infrastructure Summit 2019

Hyderabad, Apr 18 (UNI) HYSEA ( Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association) organised its first ever Infrastructure Summit at HICC here on Thursday.
The theme of the summit was 'Future Frontiers of Corporate Real Estate' that gave insights into excelling in corporate real estate in the broader built environment.
Speaking after inaugurating the event, Telangana state Special Chief Secretary (Energy) Mr Ajay Mishra said Hyderabad would continue to be a preferred destination for businesses for a long time to come, due to its excellent infrastructure.
He shared the Government’s plan for future, including constructing a regional ring road around Hyderabad, proposed to be 250 kms in length and 50-60 kms radius.
In his welcome address, HYSEA President and ZenQ CEO Mr Murali Bollu, said, ''This Infra Forum was the brainchild of the thought leaders of the Facility Management (FM). This summit was solely for the FM team and the Infra Forum is the newest addition to the HYSEA family, and we are proud to be hosting this our first INFRA Summit''.
Speaking on the occasion, Foundation for Futuristic Cities President Ms karuna Gopal, said, Urbanisation needs to be embraced and it is linked to economic development. It is important to understand the Urban Ecosystem in India.
Infrastructure from the national level should be looked at universally and it should be accessible to senior citizens, women and children, she opined.
Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) Managing Director Mr NVS Reddy mentioned, ''Hyderabad Metro Rail has made a huge impact in Hyderabad. It has a socio-economic agenda for the city, and this will completely transform the city''.
Traffic congestion have reduced and hubs of activity were created at all metro stations, with several multiplexes coming up nearby, he added.
Earlier Mr Mishra presented the first Facility Management Innovation and Excellence Awards 2019 and also launched the White Paper on 'Changing Times of Corporate Real Estate – Evolving Trends in Facilities Management' on the occasion.
Mr Sandeep Patnaik, Managing Director, Hyd and Head Capital Markets South India JLL, was also present.
