Hyderabad: TRS party decides to stay away from Apr 30 Lingojiguda division by-elections in GHMC limits

Hyderabad, Apr 16 (UNI) The ruling TRS party on Friday decided not to contest in the Lingojiguda division by elections in GHMC limits on humanitarian grounds.
This decision was taken as a response to an appeal made by BJP, the TRS party said in a statement here.
The seat fell vacant due to the death of elect BJP corporator Akula Ramesh Goud soon after the GHMC polls in December 2020 and before the swearing in ceremony..
