Hyderabad royal Nawab Shah Alam Khan passes away

Hyderabad, Oct 23 (UNI) Hyderabad royal Nawab Shah Alam Khan passed away here early Monday morning.
He was 96 and survived by seven sons.
Khan, born in Jagirdar family, was a leading industrialist, philanthropist and an educationist.
He was the Chairman of Hyderabad Deccan Cigarette Factory and Anwarul Uloom Educational Society besides several other educational societies.
He was the one who converted a small educational institute into a society under which several institutions run.
He was also officiated as chairman of Andhra Pradesh Minority Finance Corporation, Member of the Board of Management and Academic senate of Osmania University and Member of Academic Council of Aligarh Muslim University.
His Namaz-e-Janaza will be performed at Masjid-e-Salima Khatoon, Himayath Nagar here after Namaz-e-Asar prayer on Monday.
