Hyderabad Police held Bhubaneswar man for posing fake vigilance officer

Hyderabad, Aug 17 (UNI) The Hyderabad City North Zone Task force team has arrested a person from Bhubaneswar, who extorting huge amounts from Ayurvedic doctors by posing as a vigilance officer here, police said on Saturday.
On credible information, the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone Team, Hyderabad, nabbed a 39-year-old Smith Sethi alias Vivek Varma and detected 2 cases registered against him at Marredally ( Hyderabad) and Nizamabad- II town police stations in Telangana state, said P.Radhakishan Rao, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad, in a release here on Saturday.
Police seized a cash of Rs 37,000, along with two cell phones from the accused.
