Hyderabad: Kishan Reddy distributes modern medical equipment to UPHCs

Hyderabad, June 12 (UNI): union Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy on Friday distributed modern medical equipment to Urban Primary Health Centres (UPHCs) at Shivaji Nagar, Sanathnagar, and SR Nagar Main Road, Ameerpet, to strengthen healthcare services in the Secunderabad Parliamentary constituency.
The equipment provided included ECG machines, eye-testing devices (autorefractors), fully automated blood analysers and sterilisation units. A water cooler was also installed for the convenience of patients.
Speaking to the media, Kishan Reddy said the BJP was undertaking a programme to equip primary health centres across the constituency with modern medical facilities. He added that sheds, drinking water facilities and other basic amenities were also being developed at the centres.
