Ranchi, Dec 6 (UNI) Senior Congress leader and Former Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram on Friday called for a thorough probe into the genuinity of the Hyderabad encounter.
Speaking to the media at the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Headquarters, he said that he was coming from Delhi to Ranchi and something happened around 0330 to 0400 hrs.
"I know as much as you know...i am not much aware of the facts but it should be probed thoroughly for its genuinity," he added.
Earlier in the day, all the four accused in the rape and murder of woman veterinarian in Telengana were killed in the encounter with police which claimed that the culprits had tried to escape while the crime scene was being reconstructed few meters away from the place where the victim was set ablaze by the culprits.
