Hyderabad dropped from the list of venues for Intl match season 2021-22

Hyderabad, Sept 20 (UNI) Hyderabad dropped from the list of International Home season 2021-22 venues announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in its 9th Apex Council meeting held via video conference on Monday.
The BCC’s decision has come as a huge disappointment for the city’s cricket lovers, however there was some relief for the cricket lovers in Andhra Pradesh as the board has selected Visakhapatnam for one T20 match between India and the West Indies slated on February 18, 2022.
A total of 21 international matches, including four Tests, four one-dayers and 14 T20s will be held between November and June next year in the country and Hyderabad has not been included as a venue in any of the series against New Zealand, West Indies, Sri Lanka and South Africa.
