Hyd: SCR hold seminar on India’s New Labour Code 2025

Hyderabad, Jan 12 UNI) A seminar on ‘An Insight into India’s New Consolidated Labour Laws – Labour Code 2025’ was held Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad here on Monday to create awareness among South Central Railway officials about the newly implemented labour codes.
The session was conducted by Biswa Bhusan Prusty, Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner (Central), Hyderabad, from the Ministry of Labour & Employment, who detailed the four unified labour codes—Code of Wages, Industrial Relations Code, Social Security Code, and Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) and Working Conditions Code—implemented in November 2025.
Senior SCR officials including Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager, and Satya Prakash, Additional General Manager, along with Heads of Departments attended the seminar in person. Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) from all six divisions—Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntur, Guntakal, and Nanded—participated via video conferencing.

AP Health Minister hails allocation of Rs 19,306 Cr to Health sector

Vijayawada, Feb 14 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav today welcomed the allocation of Rs 19,306.04 crore to the Health sector in the 2026–27 financial budget, marking a 9.5 per cent increase of Rs 1,669 crore over the revised estimates of Rs 17,637.24 crore for 2025–26.
