Hyderabad, Nov 9 (UNI) Around 25 percent of India’s population suffers from varicose veins, a condition that can often be treated without surgery, said leading national and international medical experts at the Indian Vein Congress (IVC) 2024 here.
The Congress hosted by Avis Hospitals at District 150 here on Friday focused on sharing best practices in non-surgical solutions such as laser treatments and other innovative approaches.
Dr. Roy Varghese, Vascular Surgeon, emphasized, “Chronic venous disease affects 20-35 percent of the adult Indian population. Endovascular procedures have simplified treatment, offering a painless, day-care approach.”
