Hundreds of Ayappa Devotees and some pro-Hindu organisation members protest demanding protection of ancient custom about entry of women to the Sabarimala temple

Kalaburagi, Nov 12 (UNI) Hundreds of Ayyappa Swami devotee, including some of the pro-Hindu organisation members, on Monday took out a protest march in the city demanding protection of the ancient custom related to the entry of women to the Sabarimala temple.
The protest rally, including large number of women shouted slogans against the Supreme Court judgement allowing Women to enter the temple.
Ayappa Devotees Association District President Shivaraj Sangolgi said “We are not protesting against the Constitution or the people, but to claim the rights of the people guaranteed in the Constitution. It is the people’s desire to file a review petition against the SC order. But the Kerala State Government is not taking it seriously”.
