Humanitarian Actions Unable to Settle Crisis in Syrian Rukban Camp - Russian Military

MOSCOW, Nov 16 (Sputnik) Humanitarian acts cannot settle the crisis in the Syrian refugee camp Rukban, Mikhail Mizintsev, the head of the Russian National Defense Control Center, said on Friday.
"Judging by the results of the fist humanitarian convoy, it is absolutely obvious that the humanitarian catastrophe in Rukban is such a large-scale one, that the humanitarian actions that are currently being initiated are not able to settle the crisis, but will only suspend the situation, which complies with the interests of the US side and the US-controlled militias," Mizintsev said at a meeting of Russian and Syrian joint coordination committees on repatriation of refugees.
