Human Rights Commission disposes 13 complaints received

Gangtok,Dec 3 (UNI) Sikkim State Human Rights Commission under its Chairman Justice Narendra K. Jain disposed all the 13 complaints received during 2018-19, according to the Annual Report of SSHR Commission, released last week.
The complaints included, non issuance of OBC Certificate to a girl, denial of Old Age pension to a woman, custodial death report received from National Human Rights Commission, a case of harassment against police by a woman (withdrawn later) and Police assault on two men at Farm House Adarsh Gaon.
A complaint was lodged against SP (East) and DGP for non-registration of F.I.R., which they later agreed to accept.

Bhagalpur, Apr 20 (UNI) Accusing BJP-led NDA of intending to scrap the constitution, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said the INDIA alliance was contesting the Lok sabha election on the plank of protecting the constitution to save the democracy and claimed that the NDA would not get more than 150 seats.
