Huge losses for farmers due to less gross advance outstanding sanctioned by Tripura Grameen Bank

Udaipur, Jun 21(UNI) Tripura, a North-Eastern state in India where more than 75 per cent of the state's total workforce depend on agricultural activities, on Monday reported less gross advance outstanding of Tripura Gramin Bank (TGB) from 31 per cent to 28.17 per cent in agriculture & allied activities sector, the most important point to be noted for the benefit of Tripura farmers.
The information has received by the source of TGB officials which has published on annual report book of TGB as yearly performance report of sector-wise outstanding loan and advances.
The report shows gross advance outstanding in agriculture & allied activity sector decreased by TGB to 28.17 per cent in the year 2019-2020 from 31 per cent in the year 2017-2018 moreover the gross advance outstanding in non priority sector has increased by TGB to 18.91 per cent in 2019-2020 from 15.20 per cent in 2017-18.
