Huge haul of non-duty paid liquor by SEB : Six held , 3 vehicles seized in AP

Kakinada, Sep 22(UNI) In what is stated to be the biggest ever haul of non –duty paid liquor (NDPL) in recent times ,the East Godavari police and the special enforcement bureau (SEB)in a joint operation have seized on Tuesday Rs.24 lakh worth of 12,000 liquor bottles of 180 ML capacity packed in 250 cotton cartons while being clandestinely transported in three vehicles from Goa.
The culprits belonging to the organised racket of NDPL were caught red handed while shifting the NDPL liquor bottles cases from a lorry to Bolero van and Scorpio car at Biluvaka village hamlet of S.Agraharam village of Rowthulapudi mandal under Annavaram police station limits.
East Godavari Superintendent of police Adnan Nayeem Asmi told media persons that six culprits were arrested and four other prime accused had escaped and search is on for them .
