Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Oct 21 2016 4:38PM Huge consignment of liquor seized in Vaishali districtHajipur, Oct 21 (UNI) In the biggest ever haul since imposition of total prohibition in Bihar on April 5, police seized 7,140 bottles of foreign liquor worth nearly Rs 30-lakh near Teetal Bhakuraha village under Sarai Police Station area in Vaishali district of Bihar in the wee hours today. A Hajipur report said, police seized liquor bottles neatly stacked in 230 bags when the consignment was being smuggled on three vehicles -- container, jeep and a car. All liquor bottles bore “Made in Haryana” labels on them. Bootleggers, however, made good their escape abandoning their vehicles on the spot. A massive manhunt has been launched to nab smugglers.
