Huge consignment of foreign liquor seized in ‘dry’ Bihar

Jamui, Sep 15 (UNI) Excise authorities seized huge consignment of foreign liquor from a pick-up van near Chakai roundabout under Chakai police station area in the district today.
Official sources said here that 84 cartons of foreign liquor were seized from the pick-up van when the consignment was being smuggled from Giridih in Jharkhand to Samastipur.The seized liquor was valued at nearly Rs 10 lakh.
Police said that pick-up van driver Rambali was arrested from the spot. The driver is being interrogated to nab peddlers, sources added.
