Huawei's bid for Nepal Telecom billing system attracts scrutiny

Kathmandu, Dec 6 (UNI) Nepal Telecom has been mired in controversy over its proposal to acquire a new billing system, valued at around NPR 5 billion (
37 million), from China's Huwaei.
On March 18, Nepal Telecom — in which the government holds a majority stake — invited bids for a new billing system.
