Hrithik Roshan in talks with Laxman Utekar's upcoming film

Mumbai, July 10 (UNI) "Chhava" and "Eetha," famed director Laxman Utekar has approached Hrithik Roshan for his forthcoming venture.
Roshan is reportedly yet to take a call on Utekar's latest offer, as his immediate focus remains firmly on the pre-production of "Krrish 4", which also marks his directorial debut.
With small-town stories (“Luka Chuppi”, “Mimi” and “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke”) and historical films being Utekar's forte, it would have been interesting to see what kind of character and film he has envisioned for the actor.
“Eetha” is based on the life of legendary Marathi Lavani and Tamasha performer Vithabai Narayangaonkar. Also starring Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Randeep Hooda in pivotal roles, the Ajay-Atul musical is set to hit the screens on August 28.
Meanwhile, the 52-year-old actor is busy with an interesting line-up ahead. "Krrish 4" is being jointly mounted by Yash Raj Films and Filmkraft Productions, with the actor assuming creative control behind the camera for the first time, signalling a significant milestone in his career.
Before returning as the beloved superhero, Roshan will make a high-profile special appearance in "Jailer 2". He has already shot his cameo on June 22 and 23 in Chennai. The film will mark his on-screen reunion with Thalaivar 40 years after "Bhagwaan Dada." Interestingly, the movie also has cameos of Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Vijay Sethupathi and Mithun Chakraborty.
Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, “Jailer 2” also stars SJ Suryah, Ramya Krishnan, Vidya Balan and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. It is scheduled for release on October 15.
