HPU professor appointed as Vice Chancellor of IGU Rewari

Shimla, Apr 20 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh University former professor S.P. Bansal, Department of Tourism and Vocational Studies, has been appointed as Vice Chancellor of Indira Gandhi University, Meerpur, Rewari for a period of three years or till he attains the age of 68 years whichever is earlier.
A Notification issued by Haryana Raj Bhawan said this here today.
Prof. Bansal is the first Professor of HPU to be appointed as Vice-Chancellor of a multi faculty university.
Earlier Prof. Rajinder Mishra and Prof. Indrani Chakarvarti were appointed as Vice Chancellors of Sampurna Nand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya Varanasi and Music University in Khairagarh respectively.
