HP to probe encroachment of Housing Board land at Baddi

Shimla, Aug 27 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh government today disclosed in the House that it would probe the hefty deals after encroaching the Housing Board land in Industrial hub Baddi in Solan district.
This was stated by Urban Development and Town Planning Minister Sarvin Chaudhary in the state assembly while replying to a query of BJP member Parmjeet Pami during the question hours today.
Disclosing about construction of houses and illegal drilling of tubewell in Phase 1 ,2 and 3 of Baddi and Basanti Bagh by some influential people, Ms Chaudhary said that housing board colony lands were encroached to grab the hefty amounts after out letting the houses.
