HP’s Hamirpur reports 37 COVID cases

Hamirpur (HP), Oct 28 (UNI) Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh recorded thirty-seven new COVID cases on Thursday, said a spokesman of the Health Department.
Zero deaths were reported in the district in the past 24 hours due to the virus.
Those found positive included fourteen school children. The spokesman said that all these schools have been closed for the next forty eight hours and would be open after the Diwali vacations end on November 7th.

Dehradun, Apr 19 (UNI) Uttarakhand has witnessed an average voter turnout of 24.83 per cent for five Lok Sabha seats till 11am on Friday,
Excluding the Nainital constituency, voting percentages in the other four constituencies have surpassed those of the 2019 elections within the same timeframe, which recorded 23.59 per cent turnout by Friday midday.
