HP: Govt makes landmark amendment to CCS rule

Shimla, Aug 8 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh government has made a landmark amendment to the Central Civil Services (Leave) Rules, 1972, affecting the administration of Study Leave for government officers and employees, imposing 60 per cent cut in their salary during the leave period.
Moreover, further deductions would be made, if they get scholarship or any stipend or remunerations during foreign assignments.
The first notification, issued by the principal secretary (Finance) Devesh Kumar, outlines a major change in the way Leave Salary is structured for employees on Study Leave.
