HP government orders closure of schools till September 25th

Hamirpur/Shimla(HP), Sep 21(UNI) Keeping in view of the current situation of COVID-19 active cases and positivity rate in the state, Himachal Government has issued instructions to keep all schools except residential schools closed till September 25, while teaching and non-teaching staff in the school should be allowed to come to school on regular basis.
It will be necessary for residential schools to follow all the rules under the Kovid-19 protocol issued by the Education Department, said a spokesman of the state government today.
He said that the action will be taken against the persons who would violate theCOVID-19-19 rules issued by the government under the provisions of section 51-60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, besides legal action under section 188 of the IPC and other legal provisions.
