HP: Fresh snowfall on higher reaches, Coldwave intensified

Shimla, Feb 22 (UNI) The higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh experienced fresh snowfall, plummeting the night temperature to near zero in many places in the state.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department Bharmour, in Chamba, Kothi, Kaza, and Nichar, there was five cm of snowfall, Kukumseri (Lahaul Spiti) 1.8 cm, Kalpa 1.3 cm, Sangala 1.2 cm, Manali and Recong-Peo one, and Keylong 0.3 cm.
Tourist resort Manali had 17 mm of rain, Dalhousie 7 mm, Chamba 4 mm, Bharmour 3 mm, Seobagh 0.6 mm, and Bhuntar 0.3 mm.
