HP: 294 posts to be filled on out source basis

Shimla, Nov 25(UNI) Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said on Wednesday that in view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the state government had decided to authorize all the six government medical colleges, zonal hospitals of Shimla and Dharamshala and Civil Hospitals, Rohru and Rampur to hire people temporarily on outsource basis through authorized service provider agencies till 31st March, 2021.
The chief minister was presiding over the meeting through video conferencing from Pathankot with senior officers of the Health Department on Wednesday.
Mr Thakur said that the Principals of the Medical Colleges and Controlling Officers of these hospitals have been directed to take necessary action immediately and send compliance report to the state government within three days. He said that this decision had been taken to ensure that adequate manpower is available to effectively handle the pandemic in the state.
