HP: 22 teachers including Education Minister contract coronavirus

Shimla, Oct 29 (UNI) In a major setback to open the Schools and Colleges after a gap of seven months, Education Minister Govind Thakur and 22 teachers of Sarkaghat Government School in Mandi district have contracted COVID-19.
Mr Thakur said in his social media post on Thursday that he came in contact with one Corona positive staff member recently and he was feeling symptoms for the virus and tested positive for the Rapid antigen test conducted today.
He quarantined himself at his residence and requested people who have come in contact with him recently get tested and isolate themselves.
