House wife bit by snake, succumbs

Chennai, Dec 5 (UNI) A middle-aged woman, who was bit by a snake
two days back at her hosue in KK Nagar area in the city, died today.
Police said the woman Sumithra (35), a houswife, was cleaning the
shoe rack, when the snake which was hiding in it, bit her.
Her husband was working as a carpenter in the film industry.
She was taken to Government Kilpauk Hospital and later referred to
Government Stanley Hospital where she died this morning.
