Hoshiarpur reports 2 more nCoV cases, tally reaches 200

Hoshiarpur, Jul 12 (UNI) Civil Surgeon, Hoshiarpur, Dr Jasbir Singh on Sunday said that two new cases of novel coronavirus reported, taking the number of district COVID-19 tally to 200, including seven deaths.
He said that reports of 555 samples had been received today (Sunday) of which a 48-year-old person of village Shiwan, who recently came from Andhra Pradesh about 8 days ago, had been tested positive. His sample was taken by PHC Possi in Garhshankar sub division.
One coronavirus positive case, 29-year-old woman of village Kalota in Mukerian sub division, was also added in the district tally. She went to her parental house about 12 days ago in Gurdaspur district where she was tested positive.
