Hoshiarpur, Nov 29 (UNI) Hoshiarpur district on Sunday reported 15 new cases of Novel Coronavirus, pushing the infection tally to 6935.
In a health bulletin issued here this evening, Civil Surgeon of Hoshiarpur Jasbir Singh said that out of the total reported cases, 255 patients had died, while 6526 had been cured and discharged. As many as 154 patients were under treatment in Covid Care Centres in the district.
The Health Department received reports of 1174 samples, of which five from local Hoshiarpur and 10 from other health centres of the district were reported COVID-19 positive. Samples of 863 persons having symptoms of flu had been taken on Sunday.
