The Hope Foundation commemorated its 20th Annual Cultural and Education Day on the theme “The Power of Humanity” by showcasing the Power of Humanity with 550 underprivileged children who will be performing different skits & dance forms Children this year are focusing mainly on protecting & conserving various resources of mother nature and also encouraging the ban of hazardous materials like plastics which harm various living beings in our environment.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren launches Sona-Sobran Dhoti Saree Distribution Scheme from Dumka

Dumka, Sep 22 (UNI) Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday said that development of all sections of the state including the poor, farmers, women, youth, elderly, scheduled tribes, scheduled tribes, minorities, backward classes and businessmen is the top priority of the government.
Speaking after launching the Sona Sobran Dhoti Saree Distribution Scheme at Police Lines here he said that every day the government is moving forward with a new action plan. He said that many welfare schemes have been started and people can avail benefits by joining these schemes.
He said Lakhs of BPL holders of the state will get benefit from this scheme as the government has made a provision of Rs 500 crore for this scheme. Beneficiaries will be given Dhoti Saree or Lungi under this scheme twice a year, he said.
