Hong Kong Open: Sameer Verma upsets World No 3; enters final

Hong Kong, Nov 26 (UNI) Indian badminton player today stunned world no 3, Jan O Jorgensen of Denmark by beating him in the semi-finals of Hong Kong Open super series here to enter the finals.
Sameer thrashed Jorgensen 21-19, 24-22 to reach the finals.
In a close-fight Verma won the first game 21-19 to take the initiative in the semi-final clash, before edging out Jorgensen 24-22 in a dramatic second game to seal the final berth.
