Honeytrapping: Minister speaks her mind

Indore, MP, Oct 13 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Women and Child Development Minister Imarti Devi averred on Sunday that she did not have a shred of favouritism for the women who stand accused in the high-profile honeytrapping case.
“The men were entrapped in an erroneous manner. In such matters, the general notion is to believe that the males erred but they ought to be viewed as victims and no action ought to be taken against sufferers,” she said in response to a media question here.

Five females were among six persons placed under arrest in September subsequent to a complaint by Municipal Corporation Superintending Engineer Harbhajan Singh who alleged that the women demanded Rs 3 crore as hush money. The case is the subject of an inquiry by a special investigation team.
