Honda begins voting awareness in Delhi

New Delhi, May 9 (UNI) Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd expanded its biggest social activism movement #ActivIndia across the country with full support of more than 38 lakh Indians.

"Now #ActivIndia is igniting voters in Delhi to exercise their most important form of self-expression - their right to vote. Pledge to vote on May 12th, 2019 and decide who gets the license to serve India," a statement here said.

With polling date this Sunday, Honda is spreading awareness of voting across the city from today.

A two-wheeler rally was flagged off on Thursday in the city covering 35kms and travelled through 7 key locations including Srivasnaspuri MCD Park, Iskon Temple, Nehru Place, AIIMS, Dilli Haat, Safdarjung Tomb and Nizamuddin Road. Delhi voters are showing their support to #ActivIndia by clicking selfies pledging to vote at these areas.

"Honda has proposed a fresh thought to all the Delhi voters. Honda is asking every two-wheeler rider to pledge that #KoiSeatNaJayeKhali. Ensure that your pillion seat doesn’t go empty when you ride to vote. Ride with your friend, relative, neighbour etc. on pillion & ensure every two-wheeler rides two votes to the polling booth!," it added.
