New Delhi, Sep 9 (UNI) A Special Investigation Team (SIT ) will reopen seven cases of 1984 Sikh riot including one involving Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath, according to a government notification.
According to Home Ministry notification on August 19, the SIT has taken up discharged cases for scrutiny of these seven case and to start fresh investigation in this case.
Seven anti-Sikh riot cases were registered 1984 at Police Stations of Parliament Street, Connaught Place, Patel Nagar, Vasant Vihar, Sunlight Colony, Kalyanpuri, and Shahadara.
