Hollywood Director Sohan Roy elected to IATAS

Hyderabad, Jul 17 (UNI) Hollywood Director Sohan Roy has been elected as a member of the prestigious International Academy of Television, Arts and Sciences (IATAS) as a token of recognition for his significant contributions to the media industry, exclusively for the Marine, Medical and Movie Industries Internationally.
The main objective of the IATAS established in 1969, is to promote excellence in international television.
The organisation awards international Emmys to the best television programmes produced outside the United States, a statement said here today.

Jammu, Sep 22 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Government on Tuesday informed that 1235 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (736 from Jammu division and 499 from Kashmir division), have been reported thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 66261.

Kakinada, Sep 22(UNI) In what is stated to be the biggest ever haul of non –duty paid liquor (NDPL) in recent times ,the East Godavari police and the special enforcement bureau (SEB)in a joint operation have seized on Tuesday Rs.24 lakh worth of 12,000 liquor bottles of 180 ML capacity packed in 250 cotton cartons while being clandestinely transported in three vehicles from Goa.
